On the surface, it seems that car-nuts are well catered for, with a good selection ranging from fast hatchbacks right up to hyper-cars. The tracks aren’t bad, with enough twists and turns to test you, and even a few shortcuts thrown in for good measure. This is all set over twenty tracks, although these aren’t unique to the Vita.

There’s an impressive amount of content here, split into ten event types that’ll have you drifting for points, collecting a set number of power-ups, smashing up rivals, escaping the cops or racing head to head with a single opponent. The single player campaign is where you’ll be spending a lot of time. Unfortunately the game is marred by a number of issues that will be familiar to fans of the franchise. On paper the game sounds great, with 52 licensed cars, 20 league cups with over 100 unique races, and online multiplayer. They were unlicensed but resembled the Audi R8 and Ferrari Enzo. The Android version was released exclusively for Lenovo K860.

The game includes 52 licensed cars, 20 career classes and 15 race tracks from the Android version of Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, similar to Asphalt 3D which has 17 tracks from the Android version of Asphalt 5. The 'Multiplayer' mode gives the player the ability to play against others online. In 'Free Play', the player can play with previously unlocked tracks and vehicles.

The 'Career' mode allows the player to unlock tracks, cars and upgrades. The game contains three main gameplay modes. Just like Asphalt 3D, it was published by Konami in Japan and Ubisoft worldwide. Asphalt: Injection is a racing game for the PlayStation Vita and Android developed by Gameloft and released in 2011–2012.
